Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about our stork yard sign rentals? Here are answers to some of the most common questions.
We accept reservations for our signs only for one day events. For normal delivery, please place an order online as soon as the baby is born, and we will try our best to set up the stork in the yard before the baby and parents arrive home from the hospital. Under normal circumstances, we will deliver within 24-48 hours. If you have placed an order and did not get an email notification for the order, please text us at 561-856-9619. Kindly call us if you have sent us a message and have not heard from us. Our operating hours are Daylight Hours – 7 Days a Week.
The charge for renting the sign of your choice is $150, taxes and delivery included. The rental period is 5 days. We also offer twin storks, as well as add-on sibling stars and pet yard signs which are yours to keep at the end of the rental period, see pricing list for additional information. We will leave the bundle, star or pet sign at the front door when we return to pick up the sign.
We offer the same pink or blue 6 ft stork sign for a 5 day rental, however the grandparent bundle is generic (“It’s a Grandson” or “It’s a Granddaughter”) and is not a keepsake. If the grandparent prefers a customized/and or keepsake bundle, the normal pricing will apply.

The delivery, setup, and pickup are all included in the price of the rental. If your location is not listed, please contact us to inquire about a custom delivery fee.
We use our best judgment regarding sign placement to ensure optimal visibility and a pleasing backdrop for photographs. If there is a specific spot you would like for the sign to be placed, please notify us when you place your order and we will do our best to accommodate your request. We cannot guarantee exact placement of the sign if you are not at home when we deliver the sign and/or if you have not marked the location in the yard with a clearly visible marker.
*We define a lawn as a wide expanse of unobstructed soil with grass on the top. We cannot install signs in rocks, pea gravel, concrete, mulch, flower beds, raised beds, garden pots, thick landscaping, or hard-packed soil that has been used as a driveway. We are unable to install signs in areas where rocks / small boulders cover the “yard” or are prominent in the “yard.” We are required to drive the stake into the ground 10 inches to properly and safely install a stork sign, which is not possible in the situations described above. We also cannot place a stork sign in front of public utility boxes, water mains, or any other structure owned by the city, county, or state. We cannot impede access to these areas or we could be fined and/or have our signs destroyed because they are impeding the area.
Please do not move and/or remove the yard sign as damage can occur. Please use extreme caution when mowing or weed eating near the sign as damage can occur if any contact is made with the sign. Do not attach anything to the sign, including balloons. When a balloon pops the sun bakes the latex into the sign causing permanent damage.
If you notice any damage on the sign please notify Coastal Stork Co. immediately. Our signs are durable, weather-resistant and designed to last. However, the signs are not designed for climbing. We are not responsible or liable for any and all injuries involving the sign while on the renter’s property. The owner of the home in which the rental sign is posted will be responsible for payment of any damage to the sign while on the owner’s property. By ordering a sign, the homeowner accepts responsibility for the sign while on the owner’s property. Thank you so much for your consideration and cooperation.
Absolutely- we love delivering these as surprises, just make sure you have the gate code information upon order, if applicable, so that we have access to deliver the surprise! We will leave all information regarding instructions, pickup date, and who gifted the stork, on a door hanger upon delivery.
We refund an order only when extreme weather conditions prevent us from setting up the signs. However, we do not cancel or refund an order if:
• We are encountering difficulties accessing the gated community due to a lack of a gate code or an issue with the provided code.
• The security guard is denying us entry, and it is crucial that access is arranged beforehand as we cannot wait at the gate for more than 10 minutes.
• In some instances, the homeowner or recipient prevents us from setting up the sign or requests that we remove it before the end of the rental period.
• Additionally, if there are threatening animals.
• If the location lacks a traditional lawn (defined as an unobstructed expanse of soil with grass on top), we are unable to install signs. This includes areas with rocks, pea gravel, concrete, mulch, raised beds, garden pots, thick landscaping, hard-packed soil used as a driveway, or where rocks/boulders prominently cover the “yard.” Our sign installation requires driving the stake 10 inches into the ground, which is not possible in these situations.
